In order to be fair to you - the customer - the scan that you see is the certificate that you will get. Although I have more than one on some of the certificates I will just put up a new picture for the next one. That way you won't have to worry about any tears, imperfections, and so forth that may be on a certificate that you haven't seen.

8 October 1881 with a vignette of a steaming train passing an outcrop. Certificate number 50 for 50 shares, black on white paper. Glue stains on left edge due to removal of transfer.

West Philadelphia Passenger Railway Company  for fifty five shares issued on 13 April 1876 with a vignette of a horse-drawn trolley at the lefft of a very large building. This is certificate number 2003. 35.00

Belt Railroad and Stock Yard Company issued on 8 October 1898 with a vignette of a steaming train at the station. Certificate for 100 preferred shares, black on white paper with a "$50" gold underprint. Only certificates for common stock are listed in Terry Cox's book "Stocks and Bonds of North American Railroads". (Because of its size full margins are not shown.) 25.00

Atchison and Nebraska Railroad Company  Issued on 10 February 1880 with a vignette of a train at a depot. Black on white paper and printed by the American BankNote Company. (The first 1000 certificates for this railroad were printed by the Continental BankNote Company so this is the 29th certificate printed by ABN.) (More than one available) 55.00

Louisville Railway Company  for one share at $100.00 each issued on 17 July 1893 with a vignette of a two car trolley in the center and a woman with lightning bolts at the right. The transfer is attached to the left side (not shown in scan). This is certificate number L1826. 15.00

Fairmont, Morgantown and Pittsburgh Railroad Company  $1000.00 First Mortgage Gold Bond at four and 1/2 percent issued on 1 September 1893 with a vignette of a steaming train passing by on the bond and a woman's head on each of the coupons. This is bond certificate number 2465 and has 78 coupons with a vignette of a woman's head still attached. There were only 3000 bonds authorized for this issue.  IC (More than one available) 45.00

Lehigh Valley Railroad Company   Issued $10,000.00 General Consolidated Mortgage Gold Bond at four percent dated 16 February 1940. Has a vignette of a head-on train steaming past some track workers. This is bond number C321.  IC 25.00

Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company   Issued General Mortgage Gold Registered Bond at four percent dated 21 May 1898. Has a vignette of a man between two allegorical females on the front and a woman with a sword on the back. This is bond number B409.  IC 20.00
